Steering clear of traditional approaches to lens-making, at Rio, we specialise in the freeform technology process for making progressive lenses. Benchmarked against global standards, we bring to you our designs from the experts across Europe.
We employ the designs of only freeform lenses crafted by NOVAR technologies. It is a division of Opulens Corporation based in the USA. NOVAR Technologies is particularly dedicated to the research and development of improved technology for the optical industry and to Vision Sciences in general. A stalwart of research and development, their purpose is to take forward the technologies existing in the optical and healthcare industry and become pioneers of the field of Vision Sciences.
